This is the BEST one so far! The writing is the most clever and well written. The jokes are more creative and nuanced. It's longer. Had some extra dope visuals! Gotta love it! Why did their outlines randomly change color at the end tho?

Aaron-Long responds:

That was just a weird experiment. I thought it might be a fun way to visualize their excitement by having them 'glow' a little, like they're so excited their colours can't be contained by the black outlines. Maybe it wasn't a good idea, I dunno!

HAHAHA I died when they just returned to the original conversation at the end

Been watching Yotam since nameless 5 I believe. I like this new direction. The walk/roll cycles are fun, I love the character design and the tree song shot was great. Could have been more engaging of a video overall but it was a cool surreal experience. I'd be down for more Yotam surreal animation.

Not terrible but needs more in betweens and better audio quality

This was my very first animation I created. I did the recording and animation on my phone, so it was harder, but I'll take your advise. :3

Lol fun video. I can tell this is rotoscoped and it works well for what you were trying to do. I would watch your line consistency though. You have lines popping in and out randomly between different frames and it makes it look choppy. Make sure you're keeping the lines moving consistently/on model from one frame to the next. Other than that it looked good. Rotoscoping was well done.

The drawings look nice but a little more effort on the animation would make a big difference. Some in betweens and better timing would help. Little touches like having the water ripple instead being a flat image and having the tongue line up with the teeth as it moves would help. Yes that means you have to redraw more frames but it's worth it. Overall it's a fun concept but it didn't do much for me entertainment-wise. The best qualities of this are that the drawings themselves look pretty solid.

Word, appreciate the feedback. Just startin out in animation so it’s helpful to get these criticisms/tips from other animators. I checked out ur YT channel and dig the style, very fluid. I think the more experience I get the better/smoother the vids will get.

Wow! This is really smooth for claymation. My only gripe is i wish the eyes stayed white when they bugged out. It blends with the background too much and makes it hard to read when theyre yellow. Plus that movement could use a couple more in betweens. It looks really good though!

the animation is good while they're jumping across the screen but there are awkward frames taht are out of place that make it look choppy

ECOartists responds:

Fair thoughts. Thanks. :)

That was pretty clever. The art and animation needs improvement but it was good enough for the sake of telling the story/joke. nice work

HarveySeasalt responds:

Thanks man. Yeah I’m just starting out and learning new techniques with each video I make, slowly improving. I appreciate the feedback

The voice acting reminds me of michael cusack lol. Haha this basically happened to me at a festival once. Scary stuff!

Keep killing it mi boi

I am an animator, artist and voice actor and I usually animate the first thing that comes to my head. I have a weird head...
